Work is Where the Heart

Posted by Harold.easley at 02:03

Why is working from home a viable option? We are all a part of society and as such must follow its rules. Society expects each of us to make a contribution. Some people choose to contribute by dedicating their lives to public service, while others contribute by selling goods or services. Whatever our skills, likes, dislike or disability, each and every person who is physically able, is expected to do some kind of work. A lot of people these days choose to work from home. In this article we will explore why the idea of working from home is so appealing.

For a majority of the population the work place is separate from their home. They travel to an office or factory or shop at a specified time to do their day’s work, however there are a lucky few who do not need to leave the comfort of their home to do their work. These are the people who have been able to find home based jobs.

They say that there is no place like home. Home is the place where we are most comfortable. We are familiar with the surroundings and hence we are able to relax .It is a logical inference that we are at our best at home. We should strive to give our best to our work. This will ensure that we in turn receive the best results. Working from home gives us the opportunity to work in a place that we are familiar with and are comfortable in. This is why home based online jobs are ideal.

It is easier to find a balance between our life at home and our life at work if we are working from home. It is easier to manage our schedule so that our personal duties do not clash with those at work. We can design our own system that is best suited to our needs and we do not have to suffer minute scrutiny of every aspect of our working process. Working from home gives us the freedom to set our own hours and work at our own pace. It also allows us to take on only that much work that we are able to complete satisfactorily. We can maintain our workload based on the requirements of the rest of our life and do justice to both our home and our work. There is no hassle of travel involved and this helps save both time and energy. Every work space comes with people and politics follows where people go, home based jobs allows us to skip the unnecessary stress involved in dealing with office politics.

Working from home does not mean that you do not have to do any work and that you can do whatever you feel like. Depending on the work, you would still have to follow the necessary rules and timelines involved. Working from home simply gives you more control over how and when you do your work. There is a popular English saying, ‘Home is where the heart is’ but if you work from home you can proudly say that ‘Work is where the heart is’. It is because of these reasons that work from home India appeals to me.

I agree with you "Work is where the heart is" and work from home is not something very cheap or to think of very little; its, to be honest, is requires so much of hardwork, focus and self motivation which you probably would nt see in any other regualr job outside. Many think working from home means some sort of simple data entry or easy thing which has no future at all and few think such job dont exist. And i am sure, with the number of people, opting for online opportunities many in the future would get the awareness and importance of working from home.

Ashlee’s Work From Home Happiness blog is anything and everything you wanted to know about work from home opportunities. I had no idea how many different work from home jobs there are!
What resonated with me is that Ashlee is also a freelance writer. She gave up her job to pursue freelance writing and never looked back. She now makes a full-time living writing – just like me – and some of her best Pintastic posts are about freelance writing.
Ashlee is also soo helpful! I’ve been emailing her about Tailwind and Pinterest and email marketing and you can tell she takes the time to help others whenever she emails you.
She also has a job board, so if you are interested in picking a side job or extra cash, go there to see what’s available.
Ashlee has a fantastic beginner’s guide to getting started working from home so be sure to check that out.
